SMAI Layered Escrima / Kali sticks are ideal for training purposes as a durable alternative to the traditional competition sticks which are manufactured from a single piece of rattan and break under heavy impact. Available in two lengths 26” and 28” all sticks are even in terms of diameter and have an artificial burnt pattern on the outer skin with a smooth surface finish.

The Phillipino Style Escrima is ideal for competitions, as it is constructed from a lighter rattan material.

The Deluxe Escrima is ideal for training, as the skinned rattan material is slightly heavier in weight and more durable over time.

The Layered Escrima is also ideal for training, as the layered and tightly compressed rattan is heavier in weight and will be more durable over time.

The Foam Escrima is most ideal for beginners and children, as the foam casing allows for contact training without risk of bruises.
